Taco Tree in Auburn

Is it gourmet? No. Is it fancy or trendy? No. Is it amazing and cravable? Oh my goodness yes! I just love this place. I especially love to order the super nachos with the chips on the side so I can get it home without the chips getting all soggy.

I love taco tree. It is iconic of Auburn....but the customer service could use some major help and the servings have gotten petty. They get alot of business so there's no reason for them to be so skimpy!

Never eaten here, but the service from Connor is really good and could be recommended to the kings and queens of this world. Xoxo

I love the large drink price as well the large taco salad supreme. Worth trying! Oh yeah!

Best tacos ever!! Hard shells are awesome!! The food is great, the restaurants are super clean (both in opposite sides of Auburn on or near highway 49) and the employees are always polite and helpful. This place rocks!!

Love Taco Tree, live around the corner and always a favorite. Love the mini nacho's, lots of goodies, sour cream included, plenty of cheese...delicious, great taco's loaded with tomatoes, lettuce, olives, sour cream..the taco plus is the best one...quick drive through, so much better than taco bell, really no competition..I visit at least twice a week. The price is unbelievably competitive better than all the rest..tucked into the space next to the gas station and shopping strip, at dry creek and hwy 49 and by Placer High School.

Taco tree is a must in Auburn. The parking lot is not the best here, but neither is the other location. Cars line up in the teens... that’s how you know it’s good.

Always good, plus they give dog bones to us for our fur babies at the drive through.

Taco Tree is amazing. Don't be fooled, this is no Taqueria. This is more like homemade Taco Bell. Food comes fast, tastes good and is reasonably priced.

Taco Tree is Auburn's best fast food. Everything on the menu taste fresh and delicious. The large taco salad is my personal favorite. The enchiladas and bean burritos are just as yummy. The establishment had been around for 40 years.

My first time here. My friend likes their nachos so we had those. They were good. Not what I was used to.The decor is very barren. Not a place to linger.

Yummy fast food. Good quality, well-priced, consistent. We stop there 9 out of 10 times we're in Auburn.

First pulled up to drive thru and didnt take our order for a while then couldn't take the order properly then get to the window to pay and they carged for other items then were really rude i will NEVER eat at any taco tree again...

Taco tree is an Auburn institution. Down home, very much not traditional Mexican fare. Think burrito night at your grandma's house. Ground beef, spice mixes, you know the drill. A little tip, the enchilada is a note for note copy of the old Taco Bell enchirto, with corn tortillas instead. It's one of the best things on the menu and often overlooked. Great staff, local owners. Fast food done right.

Drive thru moved slowly, even with two lanes of drive thru. I went at about 2:15 on Wednesday, typically after lunch rush. Food was good.

Went here with a friend for lunch and I was absolutely amazed! The employees were wonderful and the food.... I couldn't stop eating! Lol 😆 Prices are so very reasonable for the amount of food your given! Yes, I had leftovers for days! 👍😁

Look here. Taco Tree is where it's at. They're very reasonably priced, the food is quality, and the staff is friendly. There may not be quite as many weird options of food you've never heard of as at Taco Bell, but the quality of what you're receiving is 100% better. They're always quick and efficient at both locations. Thank you!

Auburn's BEST!! Order everything,.it's cheap! Best iced tea. They always 100% of the time get your order right. No other fast food place can do that! Squirt their mild taco sauce packets directly into your mouth with each bite - it's pure Bliss!!

Food is good but don't go at lunchtime if you have a timed lunch. You'll be late back to work.

Consistently the best fast food restaurant in Auburn. I now live over an hour away and will invent a need to drive to Auburn just for Taco Tree. Super nachos are a must even if you have to share them (the large fills a standard square foam take out container). If tacos is your jam the taco plus are amazing!

Left there a little while go and ended up with stale chips and stale taco shells. Waist of $20 Ugh!

Always love their food! Service is quick and the employees are friendly, it's a great place to go for a yummy, pretty healthy, and cheap meal! I'll definitely be going again and suggest anyone to try it themselves!

The drive through line was really long but it went so quickly. Everyone was wearing masks and gloves, and was very friendly. Outdoor dining is currently available and the tables are pretty well-shaded.

Best Mexican food in Placer County. Reminds me of homemade food made with care. Every time I'm in Auburn I make it mandatory to stop in.
